How to play

Fit the whole piece

Choose one of the three tray pieces, then place it on the eight-by-eight board. The selected square is its top-left origin. Every occupied part must fit inside the board without covering another block. Pieces keep their shown orientation; there is no rotation or falling timer.

Clear full lines

A full row or column disappears after placement, including several lines completed together. Each placed block scores five points and each cleared line adds one hundred. The tray refills after all three pieces are used. The game ends when none of the remaining pieces fits. Use 1–3 to choose and arrows with Enter to place.

Strategy

Plan all three placements

Before using a convenient small piece, check where the larger pieces can go. A long bar or broad square needs open space that scattered gaps cannot provide.

Make useful emptiness

Build toward rows and columns that can clear together, while keeping one generous area free. Avoid single-cell holes unless you have a piece that can fill them. A clearing streak is encouraging feedback, not an extra score multiplier.

About the game

Packing, not falling

Block Puzzle turns shaped-block play into an untimed placement puzzle. Nothing drops on its own, and the board need not be full for a run to end. The challenge is preserving space for the tray you already have.
