Drift Trail

Getting your game ready…

How to play

One button, two directions

Hold anywhere on the road, or hold Space, and the jeep swings right. Let go and it swings back left. The plank road only ever bends between those two directions, so every corner is a choice between holding and letting go. Your first touch sets the jeep rolling down a short straight; hold as it reaches the first bend.

Stay on the planks

The run ends when the middle of the jeep slides past the edge of the road. You score one point for each road width you travel, plus 10 for every mango you pick up. The road speeds up gently the farther you get, and an orange flag marks the farthest you have ever driven.

Strategy

Turn before the corner

The jeep slides wide before it grips, so start your hold or release a little before the bend, not on it. As the road gets faster, start earlier: the slide carries you further. If you keep scraping the outside edge, you are turning late.

Tap through the zigzags

Some stretches step back and forth every few planks. Rather than fully turning at each step, use short quick taps to drive straight up the middle of the staircase. Mangoes in a row sound higher with each one you catch without missing, so a clean line is easy to hear.

About the game

A one-button road

Drift Trail is an original fun small games take on one-button drifting games such as Drift Boss: a jeep, a single control and a road that never stops bending. Every run opens with the same gentle bends, then the road beyond is laid out fresh and slowly tightens, so the first few seconds teach the timing before the zigzags arrive.
