How to play

Turn, thrust and fire

Steer the firefly through drifting seed pods. Left/Right or A/D turns; Up or W applies thrust; Space fires. The four hold buttons give the same actions on touch. Momentum continues after you release thrust, so turning does not immediately change your path.

Read the returning edge

The firefly and pods wrap around the board edges. Leaving one side brings them back on the other; an edge is not a safe wall. A large pod breaks into smaller pieces when hit, leaving more paths to watch.

Clear the next wave

Large, medium and small pieces earn ten, twenty and thirty points when destroyed. Clear a wave and the next follows after a brief transition. Three collisions end the run; a short protected interval follows a respawn. Pause stops flight; P or Enter on the focused board toggles play and pause. Returning from another page requires Resume.

Strategy

Use short bursts

A little thrust can carry you a long way. Release it and turn before adding more speed, especially near a cluster of pods. Firing while drifting across a clear part of the board gives you time to inspect the returning edges.

Watch the smaller pieces

Breaking a large pod earns points but leaves moving fragments. Do not follow a shot straight into that new cluster. Keep one escape direction clear and notice which piece is about to wrap behind you.

About the game

Flight without a fixed route

Firefly Drift uses turning, thrust and wraparound space rather than direct sideways steering. Successive pod waves keep the run moving while preserving a clear natural ending: losing the third life. Its firefly and seeds keep the objects in the shared jungle world.
