How to play

Build twenty layers

Place moving wooden slabs to build a twenty-layer tower. Tap, press Space or use Place when a slab overlaps the one below. The part inside that overlap becomes the next layer; any overhanging section is cut away.

Keep some width

The next slab inherits the width you kept. A small miss therefore leaves a narrower target for the next placement. If a slab has no overlap at all, the tower ends. Each press places one slab, so wait for the next moving piece.

Compare your finish

Wider landings earn more points, up to 240 for a full-width layer. The result also shows layers and remaining width. Pause holds the moving slab; starting again restores the wide base. A run also ends after ten active minutes. In a ranked run, Bank ends with only earned points.

Strategy

Follow one edge

Choose an edge of the moving slab and compare it with the same edge below. Matching the centres can be harder when the shapes are broad. Wait for alignment rather than placing as soon as the two pieces begin to overlap.

Adjust to the smaller target

After a cut, look at the width that remains instead of aiming at the original base. Several small offsets can quickly reduce your room. A steady placement on the narrower top helps more than watching the loose trimmed piece fall away.

About the game

The overlap is the challenge

Leaf Stack uses continuous wooden slabs rather than a grid of separate blocks. There is no shape rotation or line clear to plan. Each placement changes the next landing area, making the tower itself a visible record of the decisions you have made.
