How to play

Choose a matching group

Select at least two identical fruits connected by horizontal or vertical edges; diagonal neighbours do not join. The first tap previews the group and its points. Tap again or choose Clear selected to remove it. The ten-by-eight board uses mango, banana, coconut and dragonfruit.

Watch the board settle

After a group disappears, fruit above it falls into the empty space. An empty column lets the remaining columns move together. The new arrangement can join groups that were apart before; inspect it again instead of assuming the next move stayed the same.

Build useful groups

A group of n fruits earns (n−2) squared points: two earns zero, three earns one and four earns four. Clearing everything adds 1,000 once; no groups left ends the board. New board starts fresh. Ordinary play offers Undo; ranked play has no Undo, and Bank keeps only earned points.

Strategy

Look underneath the group

Before clearing, trace which pieces will fall into its place. A small removal can prepare a much larger connected group. Check whether a matching fruit above will land beside the group you are building or become separated from it.

Leave a way back

Clearing one colour everywhere except a single corner can strand the last piece. Compare the immediate group with the shape that remains. A useful move keeps future matches possible as well as removing fruit now.

About the game

Groups, rather than swaps

SameGame reuses familiar fruit silhouettes for a different spatial task. Each removal changes the board through gravity and empty-column movement. The quiet wooden tray makes connected groups visible, while the next choice comes from the new arrangement instead of a separate level of instructions.
