Seed Drop

Getting your game ready…

How to play

Aim, then let go

Drag on the board or move the mouse to swing the launcher. The dotted line shows where the seed will fly until its first bounce, then hints at the rebound. Let go, click or press Space to shoot. On a keyboard, Left and Right aim, holding Shift makes the aim finer, and P pauses. Each shot uses one seed from the tray at the top left.

Light every orange peg

Any peg or wooden brick the seed touches lights up, and lit pieces drop away when the seed leaves the board. Light all the orange pegs, marked with a diamond, to clear the garden; the counter at the top right shows how many are left. Green pegs, marked with a leaf, burst and light everything close to them. Land a falling seed in the moving basket and you get it back. If the seeds run out before the oranges do, retry the garden.

Strategy

Make one seed do a lot

Teal pegs are worth 10, green 50 and orange 100. The longer a single shot keeps bouncing, the more each new peg is worth: double from the fifth peg of the shot, up to five times from the twentieth. Every seed still in the tray when the garden clears adds 300, and finishing with seeds to spare earns the second and third stars.

Open the board first

Lit pegs stay in place until the shot ends, so a seed can rattle around the same cluster. Early shots that clear the pegs guarding a hard orange make the later ones easy. Bank off the side rails to reach pockets behind bricks, save green pegs for crowded spots, and watch the basket before you shoot: a seed that drops into it is free.

About the game

Bounces, pegs and one last slow-down

Seed Drop follows the peg-shooting style made famous by PopCap Games’ Peggle in 2007: a limited number of shots, a board of pegs, gravity doing the rest and a dramatic slow-down as the final orange peg is about to be hit. Our 24 gardens, burst pods, moving basket and jungle pieces are original to this game.
